In-situ Imagery
ReadLatham is the world’s leading manufacturer of in-ground pools. When we needed to showcase their swimming pools in a variety of locations across the United States, we turned to computer-generated imagery in lieu of photography. To build these, we created narratives for each location, then designed the homes, backyards and landscapes to match the stories—down to each tile, leaf, blade of grass, and the wet footprints of the “homeowners” who just stepped out of camera.

ReadA corporate magazine for Latham connects with their customers by celebrating "The Backyard Lifestyle.” Information about their pools is accompanied by features on pools in history and art, ideas for backyard living, and a serialized graphic novel about a disparate family of pool owners.
